¿Cosméticos en cuarentena?
It seems that the new coronavirus and the pandemic situation it has caused is also affecting and will affect our daily care habits. In this way, the preventive attitude is gradually opening a gap in our day to day. And that also implies, to our beauty routines, with all its products and devices that we use in them.
Cosmetic products are very valuable materials, but easily perishable. That is why it is important to consider the material from which the product is made (primary packaging), as well as transport, storage and distribution.
Before continuing to delve into the subject, I would like to comment on a concept that is used a lot when we talk about conservation in cosmetics and its potential contamination:
Primary contamination, which comes from the cosmetic production process itself and secondary contamination, which is what refers to that produced by the user himself.
If we talk about packaging, some such as the jars in which we can freely put our fingers in the product, would be less recommended and probably, the trend will change in this aspect or the use of brushes or spatulas previously disinfected for its application will increase.
Or is there nothing more pleasant than applying a mask with a brush?
Having said all this, I prefer to leave the choice of your next cosmetic packaging to your consideration, based on this table that I have prepared for you and which I hope will be useful for you to understand how packaging, no matter how beautiful, can greatly affect the stability and preservation of our cosmetics.
¿Te ha ayudado a discernir el packaging de tu próxima adquisición cosmética? ¿Crees que cambiarán tus hábitos en la elección del packaging cosmético tras la pandemia?
Ánimo, ¡un día más es un día menos!
